The final countdown to Bath: Hacked has begun and we’re extremely grateful to everybody who has worked so hard to get us this far. Here’s a round-up of the what’s been happening:
The hack is officially sold out but we’re hoping to make a few extra seats available. If you haven’t already registered, please do add yourself to the waiting list. We’re doing our absolute best to accommodate everybody who wants to take part.
Data roundtable (pre-BathCamp)
The last meet was a useful talking shop for throwing around hack ideas. We’re going to have another roundtable before next week’s BathCamp at The West Gate, 6pm – 7.30pm. Open invite – just turn up to talk data and enjoy a drink.
Final data requests
Jon Poole has been kept busy with your data ideas. With the hack now less than a month away please ensure you’ve talked to him about additional datasets no later than Wednesday 5th March to have a reasonable chance of getting what you need. He’ll also be at the roundtable.
We’ve been canvassing ideas for some time and the steering group are finalising the judging process this week. We’ll be announcing prize categories and judges (who are frankly bloody awesome!) next week.
Look forward to seeing you.
