Thanks again to everyone who came along to The Guild last night to take a first look at our new data store. The link you’ve all been waiting for is at:

https://data.bathhacked.org/

The jewel in the crown right now is our Bath air quality data which includes live(ish!) feeds from the city’s monitoring stations and historic data going back as far as 2002. This data will be powering the air quality hack in September and we must give a big up to Dave Rowe and Mark Owen who’ve done a heroic job wrangling it into the data store.

We’ve already loaded up some of the datasets we’d carved out in March but there are still plenty more to be added and catalogued. Some of you have already volunteered to help so we’re planning another couple of data nights imminently to help us complete the task.

Please join the Meetup group to ensure you get updates, some events may be at short notice.

Socrata logins

Anyone can view and use data in the store but if you’d like to go further or even add your own data, get yourself a Socrata login (link top right of data store) and contact me: We can elevate your permissions to do the really cool stuff.

Thanks again to everyone who gave up their time, I’ve popped last night’s slides online if you found them useful and we’re looking forward to ticking more off the list for next time.

Now please go play!
